As-Sharif Institute · Sisters Division

Private. Structured. Female-led.

A dedicated Qur'an and Arabic learning pathway for sisters and young girls — with real accountability, homework, revision, and complete privacy. Our main focus is young girls (age 5+), and we gladly teach adult sisters, mothers, and reverts too.

Safety

Female-only teaching, and complete privacy around your details and your daughter's.

Structure

A clear, leveled progression — not an open-ended series of one-off lessons.

Trust

Credible instruction and real accountability between sessions, not just during them.

Built around all three — without lowering the standard of what a real Qur'an education should look like.

Who this is for

Two paths, one standard.

Our main focus

Young girls, age 5+

Separate scheduled lessons, taught with patience and an interactive, engaging method built to encourage young hearts to love the Qur'an from the very first letter.

Also welcome

Adult sisters, mothers & reverts

It's never too late to start. The same structured path — recitation paired with real understanding — for sisters beginning or returning to the Qur'an as adults.

Group sessions

Learn and grow together, in a positive and encouraging environment.

One-to-one sessions

Personalised attention and focused learning, at her own pace.

Weekly sessions, scheduled around UK time zones — for consistent, steady progress.
The pathway

A real curriculum, not a series of lessons.

Qur'an Reading

From Qa'idah to fluency, starting with Qaida An-Nooraniyah.

Tajweed

Rules of recitation applied gradually, at a pace that actually sticks.

Hifdh

Structured revision alongside new memorisation, tracked every week.

Understanding

Surah themes and vocabulary, so recitation comes with meaning.

Progression starts at Qaida An-Nooraniyah, moving level by level toward fluent, confident recitation.

What she actually receives

A programme, not just a lesson.

Plenty of platforms teach Islamic knowledge well through recorded courses. Recitation isn't one of those things — a video can't hear a mistake and correct it in the moment. This is live, one-to-one coaching with a real teacher listening every single session, not a course she watches alone.

1

Lesson

A live one-to-one or small-group session.

2

Assignment

Clear homework is sent the same day.

3

Audio

She submits her practice for feedback.

4

Follow-up

The teacher guides the next step forward.

Between every session, she gets:

A written weekly plan
Clear homework after every lesson
A running revision list
New memorisation, tracked
A listening/audio exercise to submit
A clear next lesson, every time
Beyond recitation

Reading, meaning, and connection.

Especially valuable for reverts, mothers, and sisters who want real understanding alongside recitation — not just the ability to read the letters.

Surah introductions
Makki / Madani awareness
Basic meanings
Vocabulary development
Themes of the surah
Connection with the Qur'an
