As-Sharif Institute, Sisters Division
The Sisters Division is led independently by Umm Faris. Enquiries, scheduling, and payment terms are handled directly with her — separate from the main institute.

You're not behind. You're exactly where every one of our students started, reading letter by letter, asking questions freely, going at your own pace, with someone patient on the other side. This is built for that beginning, not despite it.

Our main focus
Young girls, age 5+
Separate scheduled lessons, taught with patience and an interactive, engaging method built to encourage young hearts to love the Qur'an from the very first letter.

Adult sisters, mothers & reverts
It's never too late to start. The same structured path: recitation paired with real understanding, for sisters beginning or returning to the Qur'an as adults.
Group sessions
A weekly Qaidah An-Nooraniyah group (up to 4 students), one hour, £25/month per student (approx. $34 / €29). Starting 15 September.
One-to-one sessions
Weekly, half-hour sessions, £40/month per student (approx. $54 / €47). Personalised attention and focused learning, at her own pace.
Group sessions share the teacher's time; one-to-one is fully dedicated to her alone.
Payment is manual, at the end of each month — no automatic subscription or card-on-file. Prices in GBP (£); other currencies shown are approximate.
The pathway
A real curriculum, not a series of lessons.
Qur'an Reading
From Qa'idah to fluency, starting with Qaida An-Nooraniyah.
Tajweed
Rules of recitation applied gradually, at a pace that actually sticks.
Hifdh
Structured revision alongside new memorisation, tracked every week.
Understanding
Surah themes and vocabulary, so recitation comes with meaning.
Progression starts at Qaida An-Nooraniyah, moving level by level toward fluent, confident recitation.
What she actually receives
A programme, not a lesson.
Plenty of platforms teach Islamic knowledge well through recorded courses. Recitation isn't one of those things: a video can't hear a mistake and correct it in the moment. This is live, one-to-one coaching with a real teacher listening every single session, not a course she watches alone.
